About MHOSA
The "Mile High HO Slot Car Association", also known as MHOSA, came about years ago and has evolved into what it is today. Always evolving, MHOSA is an informal group of HO slot car racing enthusiasts who gather primarily to race HO scale slot cars in the Denver, Colorado area. Some of the HO slot racers in the association also have an interest in building, restoring, and collecting HO slot cars. At the Association's nucleus is Scott Johnson, well know nationally in HO slot racing circles as one of the hobby's most dedicated enthusiasts. The objective of the MHOSA web page is two fold; 1) to serve as a repository of information about MHOSA activities and its associates, and 2) serve as a broadcast signal and liaison between the group and other HO enthusiasts locally, nationally, and world wide.
MHOSA is a friendly group, continuously seeking to meet other HO scale slot car hobby enthusiasts of all levels and interests. Beginners to advanced, collectors to racers, contact us for more information: Scott Johnson

Getting Started in HO Scale Racing
Interested? If you live in the Denver area and want to get started (or re-introduced) in HO scale racing, MHOSA welcomes you! To get going, the following should be helpful.
Where to race MHOSA holds races every other Tuesday. Check the schedule on the MHOSA page, or contact Scott Johnson or Roger Thompson for other beginner races.
What you need You may have your own cars. Tyco, AFX, Lifelike, and other brand cars are unlikely to keep up with the current club cars.
Unlike home race tracks, MHOSA sanctioned race tracks are set up so that each racer can use their own controller. If you are a beginner, you may borrow a controller and a car.
More Advice? See our Rules & Tech Tips page. Or, email us to ask questions or advice. Were are quite eager to introduce, or re-introduce folks to HO scale hobbies and our group of friendly HO enthusiasts.
