2) The maximum allowable lateral movement of the front axle is 1/32 inch.
3) After technical inspection (qualifying), and during the race, any part of the car may be replaced except for the chassis,
and magnets (motor & traction).
4) Car body must cover the chassis when viewed from above (except through legal openings).
5) Any car without a body or with an interfering body will not be allowed to continue.
6) Decisions regarding rule interpretations will be made by the head marshal (computer marshal).
7) Cars may be subject to a tear-down to satisfy technical inspection.
8) New parts that are not commercially available at the start of the season are NOT allowed during that season.
Race Format
- Technical inspection time: 6:45 PM, unless otherwise specified. Race start time 15 minutes after the start of technical inspection. The start of races will not be delayed for late comers. If in time, they may enter the second heat. Full entry fee still applies.
- Each 'on time' entrant is guaranteed two heats per class.
- Each entrant must pay an entry fee and must pass technical inspection to participate in the racing.
- A replacement car may be entered if the original car is withdrawn and an additional entry fee is paid. Such additional entry fee is paid in full to MHOSA.
- Replacement cars will lose any lane choice the original car may have earned.
Lane Choice per class
- Lane choice for each class’s first heat of a new season lane is based on the order of previous completed season’s results. Highest placing driver has first choice, and so on.
- Lane choice for each class’s first heat of the subsequent race days is based upon the current season points standings.
- Lane choice for each class’s second heat of a race day is based upon the first heat’s results.
General

- Racers with a “sit out” may be required to act as a turn marshal.
- At least two marshals are required for any race heat.
- IF requested by an entrant in the current heat, and who has a legitimate mechanical problem, that entrant will be allowed an additional 120 seconds once during any single race day. Except as just noted, the time interval for lane changes will not normally be delayed by, or for, a heat racer.
- All races will be run at 12 Volts DC.
Entrants for each Race Day
- Participation fee is $6.00 per race day.
- 3 ohm A & B, Open, and 6 ohm X-Jet drivers are allowed to participate in 1 car class during each nights races.

- Season Tie Breakers per class (in order): 1) Most wins, seconds, etc., 2) Best throw away, second best throw away, etc., 3) Highest finish in season finale race.
- If only four racers, or less, are in attendance after 30 minutes from the scheduled start of any class race, each entrant who paid the entry fee will receive first place championship points for that class’s race (but no individual results for that race will be recorded or posted).
